reasonable guess, but as I said to Ed, I should also point out that the CTRL-C and CTRL-V work everywhere else in the environment both in and out of the applications. But even in the native VFP environment, if I try to modify a report, I cannot use the cut and paste within the expression builder...

Could this be some obscure Windows setting that I don't know about?
