Yes I do because we have not figured out the root of the problem. Is the purpose of the append blank to have empty data values for your form's controls? If so, fine. Otherwise please explain what you are trying to accomplish with this form. Do you have any data in your tables?

I still do not understand why you can not open a table and APPEND FROM TABLE1. Even if there are ZERO matching fields you should get 1 empty record for each record appended from TABLE1. The only way you get no records appended is if all records in TABLE1 are deleted and SET DELETED is ON or TABLE1 has no records.
