that is not drew's fault but rather VFP's - not letting u subclass grid columns (visually) and worse not letting u set
this as the default column (btw, i use simillar technique and not just with grids but option boxes etc. as well)
what u can do (if u got the spare time...)
is write a builder thta will take care of this
(if i'll be sure that VFP 5.0 does not address this prob. as well i'll probably will write one myself)
