I have created a stored procedure that deletes all permission of a role in sysprotects system table. To make that stored procedure working, I must create it when the server option "Allow updates" is set to 1. Once it is created, I can execute it even if the option is set back to 0.

My problem is that in SQL Server 7.0 it is not working but in 6.5 it works very well. Why??
