Roy, thank you for your insight. We do need to import the Access data and thus need to make a connection using ODBC. However, further complicating this matter is the fact that we are using free tables and not a database container in our application. Our environment is a mix of VFP and FP2x legacy programs. As I understand it, connections and views require a dbc. How can I utilize a dbc in this scenario and keep my free tables?
