We had two situations to deal with, the first was one free table was a direct copy of the access table. We selected the view and used a copy to command to recreate the free table:

COPY TO FileName TYPE FOX2X

The other files we had a field mapping mechanism so we moved through each a record at a time and used the INSERT INTO sql command.
