Make sure on the client, you're instantiating using CREATEOBJECTEX(CLSID,server name); the message indicates that the object can't instantiate on the client side because it can't resolve the CLSID or ProgID via the local registry. The most frequent cause I've seen is instantiation via the ProgID without the needed registration on the client side.
