I was at the Improv comedy store here, with a comic who was very Brooklynish. When he stated he was from NY, a bunch of people cheered. So he said, "I got a simple way to recreate the smells of NY if you miss them so much. Go to your bathroom, pee on the floor, then close the door for 3-4 days. Voila, the smells of NY".
