Just point the ODBC connection at the remote files. Clearing a user's network access rights is beyond the scope of an ODBC connection- they have to have network rights before they can even think about modifying the database.

Yeah, think that's what it is- SQL server, or any other remote database that requires a username and password to connect. That's irrelevant with VFP data.
