>I can't speak for the majority of UT members, but yours is much appreciated than Mr. Petersen's SH&$^#^$ F*$*$ thread. Mr. Rauh & Mr. Petersen's life preserver (VB) can't make the majority of the end-users happy. To them, VFP marketshare is sinking but here, it's not. Our hands are full of VFP projects to the point of saying "NO" to some clients wanted their systems to be overhauled, some were done in VB/ACCESS.

Good thing you have the guts to post such a thread. I am happy of having a Filipina joining UT full of confidence.
I would agree with you that VFP is soaring here in our country. We too, as software development company have some failure VB/ACCESS project to our rescue. Some were done in PROGRESS. It's hard to find VFP developer nowadays but lots of job openings. Majority of our newly hired programmers came from VB and they were amazed when they saw VFP's richness as a database development tool.
