So do we have "agreement that there is a problem"?

>Agreed, two answers as B and D. I would vote for B because even with "general" datatype this function is the one that's working. (ie: eval(GenField) just pops an error but transform(GenField) kindly returns "Gen" or "gen").

>In fact I jumped to say "forget about what I told you during 70-155 study group chat, regarding valid of combo and listbox". There is a question in the quiz section about "when" of combo and listboxes. It's still true with version 6 :) Just forget "how valid would behave then" in chat. There is one "valid" as I could find.

>>Well then, lets start with this one: it is both B and D; more so B - D is a subset of B. The KB answer is D.

>>A>>Converts any variable type expression to any other variable type.
>>B>>Converts any variable type expression to a character type.
>>C>>Converts a character type expression to any other variable type.
>>D>>Formats character or numeric expressions using PICTURE and FUNCTION codes.
>>E>>Strips the PICTURE and FUNCTION (2.x) or Format and InputMask (VFP) codes from a formatted character expression.

>>>Discuss them here is fine. If there is agreement that there is a problem, we will get it corrected.
