>Hi,

>I have an old Foxpro DOS 2.6 Application running on Win95 & Win98 machines which I have just upgraded the server from Windows NT 3.51 Server to Windows NT 4 service pack 4. Previously I was able to redirect printing to 6 different network printers using the "set printer to \\servername\printername=lpt1" command. Now, it appears after I print when I exit Foxpro I get Vxd errors and need to reboot.

The printer assignment should be done prior to starting the application using the NET USE command line command, or NET USE must be fired from the RUN command. The command line syntax for NET USE is:

NET USE device name UNC identifying the device

eg NET USE LPT1 \\servername\printername

RUN NET USE LPT1 \\servername\printername
