>Speaking of "Thanksgiving to God", is it specific for Christians or Non-Christians alike - the entire U.S. citizenry? Irregardless of religion, it must give Thanks to God?
Jess,
Well, first of all, no one is forced to celibrate Thanksgiving.
Secondly, as I had mentioned before, mostly now Thanksgiving is a crass commercialization and has little or no relation to its original Christian-based meaning. I personally think this is a shame but it is what it is.
Thirdly, the United States now is MUCH more materialistic than it used to be, with the corresponding decline in many of its traditional spiritual underpinnings.

>>The day after Thanksgiving (Friday) is THE BUSIEST shopping day of the year. Traveling, particularly the day before and the next few days after in the US are typically
horrible. Some of the busiest travel days of the year so planning on travel should be done carefully. It's just very very busy.

>Thanks! As Craig says it might be a smarter idea of going there during DEVCON 2000.
*g*
If you are going to visit the US that would certainly be a great excuse! *g* Over here we call that a tax deduction. *g* That would also give you an opportunity to get to know those you have met online. We're a pretty friendly bunch actually.
