i've not try out your codes, but i've a few questions hope you can help.

1. can i control the playing of the AVI file
2. can i stop it or replay it half way
3. is there a so call status change event
4. can i continuous play the AVI file
5. can i set the number of times to play

hope you can help. i've to thank you again for your effect.
