Jorge,

I haven't used PCInstall but I can give my $0.02 about Installshield.
I have used Installshield 5.1 and 5.5 to create vfp app installs.
After a long learning curve, I have made a set with does what I need.
It is a pain in the ass to deploy every new version because of the new/updated activeX compoments etc and related dll's.
Now I have a new app with HTML Help, I couldn't make a succesfull set.
After trying for endless hours to get InstallShield 5.5 to do want, I gave up, with thanks for the (non)-support fo Installshield. I gave it another try at the Dutch/Belgium installshiekd days last week. All my worst nightmares came true. All suggestions/wishes (both new and old) couldn't be made or could be implemented in a future version but between the lines: "Don't count on it"
So the same day I downloaded the InstallMaster 8 demo from Wise (www.wisesolutions.com) and I made my 'impossible' installtion from IS5.5 in Wise within half a hour (just the frame with the hard part implemented, the rest should be in within 2 hours.) mainly because WISE supports VFP5 and VFP6 (including SP3) and also Crystal Reports 7.

Needless to say we are now going to buy the product from Wise, no longer from Installshield.

P.S. All new tricks of Installshield 6 like webdeploy, automatic finding the right dll's are in Wise 7/8 also, but I really lost my confedance in Installshield. Because WISE has (working) VFP support build in, this is the main reason for my thumbs up for WISE.
