Unfortunately, it's inches which isn't very useful for preventing broken groups. Now if it were flugelwhiffles, all our problems would be solved, as the flugels NEVER disconnect from the whiffles.
I HAVE used it to prevent a group header from being alone at the bottom of the page. In conjunction with the 'repeat group header at top of new page' choice which is also in there you can at least keep one or two detail lines with the header.
Now if I could only find a way to prevent the final total of a group footer from appearing as an orphan on the page following the detail.....
