Thank you for the reply. I ended up using installshield to install the
files and things worked!! The Foxpro setup wizard must not update all of
the dependent dll's.

Thanks again,
Thom

>One reason, as stated in "Possible Reasons for OLE Control Registration Failure" at http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q140/3/46.asp, is "One or more DLLs may be the wrong version. If the control was built with a newer version of a DLL than the one installed on the computer, the control may not load properly, so registration fails."

>COMCTL32.OCX which houses these two controls, is dependent on no less than 11 versioned .DLLs and 3 OS .DLLs in NT and 11 .DLLs in Win98. (Note I got this information from DEPENDS.EXE - the Dependency walker installed with VFP.) You may need to update these older systems with the appropriate MS service packs.

>>I have treeviews and imagelists on a form. It works great in development and in an exe on some installs, while other installs on older machines give an ole errorcode Ox80040154, class not registered. We know that the ocx was registered (by the Install program and then by hand using regsvr32). I have tried to follow some of the threaded discussions on the subject but do not know what the actual solution is.
