As a suggestion, take a look at Whil Hentzens book, "1999 Software Developers Guide". In my opinion, this is must reading for anyone who is or wants to do programming as a hired gun. It is generic enough to apply to any development, not just VFP, and even for a seasoned veteran I'd venture to say you can learn some stuff in every chapter.
