I have now noticed that anytime I edit a record that has been appended to a view I get an "Update Conflict" error. The situation is that I have a grid based on a view where they can click an 'add' button which will append a record to the view. Then they can navigate through the grid and then navigate back to the record appended make a change to the record and then I get this error.

Is there a way to edit an appended view record?
