You'll need to install and configure a server for the .WMF extension on the system; essentially, you need a program that can accept requests to perform sets of actions on the file, in the same way that Word accepts responsibility for handling files with the .DOC file extension. I do not know of a freeware or shareware product that is available to perform the task.


Without an OLE-compliant server to handle the file type, you're out of luck. I'd guess that a drawing package was a reasonable starting point for investigating this further.
