You have a point Michel. What about a way to add an ammendment? Perhaps when a user replies to himself it could indicate that it's an ammendment to a previous post rather than having the 'To' data the same as the 'From'.

The people the original message was sent to should also automatically be notified via the mailbox.

Perhaps the original message could be modified to include a link to any ammendments that have been made so that anyone reading it knows that it's been ammended.
