You can either use a filter on the table that you're using, or preferably, use a parameterized view instead of a filtered table. FIltered tables are slow.

No; there are add-ons like Communications Horizons Y2KFOX that will provide a workaround, but FPDOS by iteslef (without lots of code fixes) is not Y2K compliant.
