Use DEFINE WINDOW mywindow to define a custom window of 0 size, and then use SET TALK WINDOW mywindow right before the query. This might do it.

>I like to Set Talk On so that my users can automatically see a progress bar on long queries. The problem that I am having is that after the query is completed and before the next command, "Set Talk Off", executes the system place a text status line from the query (ie. 2,333 records found) somewhere on my the form from which the query is being performed. Does anyone know how I can keep this text message from displaying, yet still get the "Progress Bar" to display?
