>It'll recover until the app gets installed out in the field and all the files are in new, interesting and different locations, thereby invalidating the DBC links, at while point you go through the whole thing again. Generating the DBC and tables on site using something adapted from GENDBC, or using a commercial tool like Stonefield Database Toolkit, the solution I've adopted, don't continually run into the problem noted when the DBC and tables are moved, or you need to make changes to a DBC already deployed (you can't just copy over the old DBC with a new one in most circumstances.)

I agree about SDT. I wouldn't do an application without it, internal or external. I'm also a big fan of Stonefield Query and Stonefield Reports.
