I once got an error doing oObject.oChildObject.cProperty saying that Alias oObject or oChildObject not found or similar, so I added a property to oObject thats assign_method returned oObject.oChildObject.cProperty. I think it was in a SQL Select, sounds related < g >.

Nick, just for kicks and giggles, try this. Better yet, bind these values to properties on whatever the "WITH" your using is, then read those form your UPDATE. I think it will work.
