When I used to live in Denver, there was a group of 4 of us who used to go out to work for drinks together, all guys. At the time I wasn't the only one in the group who wasn't married. They used to sit around and tell me to call them if I'm even thinking about getting married.

I thought they were kidding till I was talking to one of the guys one day and mentioned how I was talking marriage with a girlfriend. He got all uptight, "PERRY, I TOLD YOU TO TALK TO ME FIRST".
