I didn't realizr that this was on a users machine and not a development machine. THat changes my story-

Locate the ocx file that hosts the ActiveX control that is causing the error. Go to the run dialog and type:

REGSVR32 /path/somefile.ocx

This should register all controls hosted in the file.
