I don't know if any of you have already used ADSI with VFP and VB, but if so, maybe you can help.
I'm actually trying to access an x500 directory through ADSI (LDAP) and I know that there are user-defined schemas in this directory, but I need to know how to extend the standard schema so that I can tell the ADSI component what to look for.

For example, I know that the Object Class 'person' is part of the '93 standards, and has a couple of attributes (commonName, telephoneNumber, etc). I know that there is a user-define Object Class called gcPerson, and it has attributes x, y and z.

How can I tell ADSI about this schema. I know that I can't do it directly through VFP, and so I use VB.

How can I use VB to let this ADSI component that there is more to the schema than what is defined in the standards?!?

Thanks for any help.
