I believe I have solved our problem. At least the first one. I bumped up the memory setting for the VFP Support Library PPC to about 16Meg. These G4's have 128 Meg so memory is readily available. After that all my Buffer,Error 11, and lock ups disappeared. I hope it stays that way. I hate Macs!
