>Eric, go search the web for the differences between Internet Explorer and Netscape. You could create pages that displayed different depending upon what browser the user has, but Why? You have no control over the users security settings which control if the ActiveX control is registered on the client's machine.

I am aware of the difference between browsers. But I am slow to let a crappier browser hinder my page development. I am prone to use a strategy that looks at the browser being used, and if it is IE, use my beautiful chart in an activeX control, and if it not, return the same page but with a message in place of the chart that says "Big beautiful chart goes here, but you can't use it because your browser sucks".

I strongly feel the browsers and their users should be "nudged" to get with the times.
