Hi Jeff,

I noticed the same thing when I open Excel spreadsheets from VFP with
.oExcel.WorkBooks.OPEN(lcFileName) - the auto_open() does not fire.
Don't see any reason for that, and didn't find a workaround (yet) but actually I didn't even try because in my case it is the exact behaviour I would like to see. :)
