From what I've seen the new RDRAM is very cool, but probably on the front side of the price curve. I'd expect it to go down the first quarter of next year, presuming that it works well in the marketplace.

Waiting to purchase hardware ALWAYS IMO benefits the purchaser.

Doing an NT server can be tricky if your hardware isn't on the HCL (Yet another acronym for Hardware Compatibility List), which you can get from Microsoftsomewhere on their site. I think they even have a downloadable software test thingy.

I have always been torn between hardware and software.
