Tips, I was making about 150+ a night back then. But we would get some side money on good tables. Sometimes we had to repay some tip money for a vintage change on wine. What we sold in the wine list and what we delivered could have been different. On a 250+ bottle of wine that takes a chunk out of the cash for the night.

We worked back then in a team of 4 1/2 people. Captain was split between 2 teams, front waiter to take the order, back waiter to deliver the food, buss boy to do the deserts, and the water boy to keep drinks filled. I made it to back waiter.

On that flight to the Vegas Island, can they serve you a carton of punch? I remeber those fight attendants trying to get everyone a drink in 20 min of air time between islands.

I bet things have changed there like every where else. Does KPOI still do the surf report? Those were the days. Surf in the morning and work all night.
