At the very least it looks like the author elevated the stature of VB by referring to it as: "Visual Basic Development System". At least that's the first time i've seen it named that way.

And I must disagree at least in part... if not the author, then the editor needs to detect/correct things like this in a publication aimed at promoting MS developer products.
