I can confirm that the MS support forums are being merged; I don't know the internal details of how the new single forum is going to split out the different areas. This is in conjunction with CSi's decision to reduce the number of discrete forums. Adaptec, Canopus and PCWorld all left as a result of this decision; the remains of PCTech were merged with about a dizen other forums and turned into the Emerging Technologies forum. I'm sysoping there for now, but it's not like PCTech or PWOFORUM, and I'm not sure how long I'm going to stick with it.
