Well, it's one of those "go figure" things, I guess. I had no problems with either Win95 or NTWS, only Win98SE. Probably something like Ed suggests, either missing components or components loaded in the wrong sequence...of course, these things still have to be described as *bugs* that ought to be fixed in future releases...
While I'm ranting, I still can't understand why they didn't build a fresh Active Desktop into IE5 - that workaround of uninstalling IE5, loading IE4 Active Desktop, and reinstalling IE5 seems to seriously lack some design foresight by the MS IE folks :)
