John, I am one of the lurkers out here on the UT that Jim Booth mentioned.

I have found a great deal of wisdom from the likes of you. As a lurker
I have figured out that you are indeed one of the best VFP experts out
there. I think the "VFP 6 Enterprise Development" book you wrote with Rod
Paddock and Ron Talmage was one of the best all around study guides for the
VFP beta exam. Just last week I recommended it as a study guide for the exam to a friend.

Several months ago I was fortunate enough to search and find an
excellent posting you made available on the UT entitled "Using MAPIMessage Control". What a great article explaining the Outlook application and
how to use it from VFP!

The white paper you wrote on ADO is a classic. I especially like your
stance and views on alternate languages. I hate to say it, but VFP is not a all
encompassing language.

Please reconsider your departure from the UT. The UT lurkers of the world
need experts like you!

>Please reconsider this move. We need your voice here for the lurkers and new folks to get a perspective on things that is not wholy VFPism. You are often the voice of pragmaticism that forces us to support and defend our statements.

>I think you are reacting to those same folks who are baiting you on. Remember there is a vastly larger group here that is not baiting you and reads your messages to get the information that is invariably in them. Stick around, we need you!
