Your example is working only in VFP.
Oracle doesn't accept sum(something)+000.000 ...

I don't know why, but 'sum_column_returning' is number(20,0).
If SET FIXED is ON, I see decimal places in rows without cursor.
So, after each sum I alter table sum_column to number (20,2). Nice ?
