I think I've found your "lost" time. :) My PC GAINS time periodically. No set patern, just every couple of weeks or so, I've noticed the clock is a bit ahead of things. My PC is rarely off, and has been that way for nearly 3 years. Hardware upgrades are the only reason I turn it off.
