Sure Jim, that's what both theory and practice say.

Though, with accountants it sometimes goes slightly different - they'll try to check your calculations with pocket calculators, and do the rounding as they go... so I had to do the rounding as they did (the customer being always right). But then, there's a rule of thumb for such a calculation: round it once, store the rounded result, and use it as it is, never rounding it again. I had to learn this the hard way - and as they say, "if you want to do something wrong, do it right".
