Hi all,

Despite having a procedure saying "set printer to label_printer", the label_printer being a variable reading from a table, the label only prints to the default printer. This is inconvenient of course, as reports don't print nicely on labels.

If you actually go into the label on that workstation and change the printer in page setup, it works fine...for that workstation. Now other workstations decide to print to an inappropriate printer (e.g. a laserprinter with preprinted invoice sheets).

This is really driving me mad. I am thinking of leaving the label printer as default printer and do a printer prompt for each other report, but it used to work before I left (clients in Canada, me now back in the UK), so what is going on? It is very frustrating. How does this work? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
