Hi,
I am working on a Point of sale application that needs to talk to Preh keyboards. The application works fine with std keyboard and mouse. I need help to choose the right programming paradigm that suits POS.
From the Preh manual, I understand that it can be programmed to send predefined key sequences. Setting it up seems pretty straight forward. But my application which was originally written for mouse based interaction needs to understand the input coming from the keyboard and click the right button on the current form whatever it is.
After searching the KB on UT, I saw lot of information on the POS hardware and software stuff to control POS terminals, but not much on the programming paradigm.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to program for POS?
