I've been looking at various communications libraries/activeX objects and it seems like everyone here mentions CommTools. I downloaded the documentation and samples (from www.sofdesign.com) and it only mentions VFP versions 3.0, 5.0, and 5.0a. Is it only the documentation that needs to be updated?
While I'm asking, is this the best solution for doing Zmodem transfers from a BBS in VFP? I'm very hesitant to ask the boss to spend $300 on something that doesn't have a downloadable demo version. I've been testing Commx but, like anything not specifically written for Fox (it seems), none of the events ever fire.
Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
