Jim,
>>What is the best way to go about moving a mix of oop and procedure code to web based technology? What is everyone else doing?
Follow the crowd to
www.west-wind.com and get Web Connection right away. While you're there, get Rick Strahl's book, "Internet Applications with Visual FoxPro 6.0" -- it's excellent and spells out your options very clearly.
Read the threads for the past couple of months at
www.west-wind.com/wwthreads, especially under the section "Web Connection Support" and "Web Connection 3.0", which is almost finished with beta.
I am one of many happy users of Web Connection, and it *really* is worth the small cost.
Web Connection handles much of the difficult issues for you, leaving your job as designing the HTML screens and porting your code into new methods, or putting in calls to your existing middle-tier objects if you have gotten that far. It can easily handle a mix of OOP and procedural code.
You'll find quite a few people experienced with this approach both here and on Rick's message board.
