If you haven't been there yet, go immediately to www.west-wind.com and get a look at Web Connection, which can help you a long way toward your goals, and enable you to possibly re-use some of your VFP work. Speed of ASP can be an issue with heavy hit loads, and the white papers at west-wind will give you lots of ideas.

Better yet, get Rick Strahl's book about Internet Applications, available on the same site. Highly recommended, whether or not you plan to use VFP code in this web solution.
