Thanks, that was it. For some reason (?) when I added the calculated field, I only had the field names in the calculation without table prefixes. When the GetField method looked, it was interupting TYPE(lcExpr) to be "U". When I added the tables to the formula, the TYPE was "N". I can now see the calculated field in the reports.
