Thanks for your input ... we will try installaing this way since using the install wizard does not work ... only a complete install of VFP development does the trick. The test program is one line of code ... a wait window .. and we get the error on that line.

We are sure this is something to do with Arabic windows because it only happens on Arabic NT and win 98. We have encountered other strange behaviour that does not occur in the normal environment.

Does anyone know what Vfp6enu.dll does and how it may be used in a non "enu" environment?
