>We are currently using pcAnywhere 9.01 from Symantec for remote technical support. It served us far better in its DOS version than it does now.

I don't know much about version 9.01, since i'm still using 7.5 and 8.0. I think 8.0 does have remote printing, but you have to configure both systems for it. Version 9 may still have it, but for any large print jobs, wouldn't it be faster to retrieve the data and print over your LAN?

The same is probably true with the keyboard/mouse incompatibility. If you're using an unconfigured Anything, chances are that you're not getting optimal performance. pcAnywhere 7.5 is has more 'options' than I've ever used, i'm sure version 9.0 is more complicated.

It might be worth it to call Symantec and get help fixing what you have than finding/buying/learning a completely different system.
