Thanks Mike, I will try what you suggest.

The SetEnvironment method is mine and I use it to set the envirnment upon app start up. It is really a proc I have carried from 2.6. When I made sub classed the class containing the method and called the method from the Load event (this.oClass.SetEnvironment)- All was right with the world.

Now that I have a private data session - can I access one of the tables in the session wiht a method or proc outside the form?
