I doubt we will ever see VFP used as a solution for any technology solutions that Microsoft has to offer.

Using VFP would make too much good sense, but it is not 'Strategic'. VFP is strictly a niche product for a niche market.

On the other hand, if you are in a competitive market building solutions, VFP gives you a development cost advantage that others won't have.

Still, Microsoft is not a good parent and does not treat all children equally.
